Emergency Closing - Delayed Opening Information

EMERGENCY CLOSING OF SCHOOLS

When severe weather conditions or an emergency requires the closing of schools, information about school closings or delayed openings will be posted on the district website and will be communicated through ParentSquare at approximately 6:30 a.m. Additionally, notifications will be placed on the district's social media and News12.

DELAYED OPENING

Parents will obtain information from television and from ParentSquare. Bus schedules will be adjusted accordingly depending on the delay. All morning programs and services are canceled during delayed openings.

During a One-Hour Delay, students may enter school at 8:00 a.m. and report to first period at 8:30 a.m.

During a Two-Hour Delay, students may enter school at 9:00 a.m. and report to first period at 9:30 a.m.
