Fall 2025 Driver Education Information
Registration for Glen Cove High School’s Fall 2025 Driver Education Program starts on September 4. Applications are to be submitted to the High School Main Office daily from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
All applications must be received by Friday, September 5, or until all spots are filled.
There are limited spots available and registration is on a first-come first-served basis, with preference given to Seniors, followed by Juniors.
Please note that a payment of $575.00, a completed application signed by a parent/guardian, and a copy of the student’s valid Learner’s Permit, are all required at the time of registration. Payments must be made by check or money order payable to the Glen Cove City School District. Cash will not be accepted & there are no refunds. The driving schedule is tentative and may change due to student enrollment numbers and preferences. Selection based on the order in which students register for the class.

*Please note that the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles mandates that students cannot miss more than three sessions and all missed sessions must be made-up. Missing more than three sessions results in the immediate removal of the student from the course with no refund.
